Well guys, I have finally succeeded in taking the first step to leave NYC. I do this with a bit of sadness but excitement at the same time: Last year, I had applied for permanent residency in Australia, and just yesterday evening, after massive paperwork, health and police checks, I was approved and received the grant! If I'm driving in a new place, I'm confident that I'm the biggest jerk on the road, simply because I learned to drive in New York. I think that if you can drive in New York City, then you can take on the world. Driving through Times Square alone deserves some sort of special recognition.
